The first includes the commandments to love God, study the Torah, read the Shema prayer (attesting to the unity of God), wear the tefillin, and affix the mezuzah. The Humanist Society also aims to bolster growth at the grassroots level by supporting the all movement efforts to develop strong communities and community leaders.
