The traditional German Konzertposaune can differ substantially from American designs in many aspects. The mouthpiece is typically rather small and is placed into a slide section with a very long leadpipe of at least 12"–24". The whole instrument is often made of gold brass, and its sound is usually darker compared with British, French or American designs. While their bore sizes were considered large in the 19th century, German trombones have altered very little over the last 150 years and are now typically somewhat smaller than their American counterparts epub. We have tried to describe it as it is, and are happy to answer any questions asked. #36/2016 Up for sale is a 1954 Olds Bass Professional Trombone with F Attachment. (serial number 180xxx).
